What we offer
Based in Manchester, JG Paraplanning is driven by a commitment to quality outsourced paraplanning and administrative support services, seamless collaboration, bespoke and scalable support tailored to your unique business needs.
At JG Paraplanning, we believe in a straightforward and transparent approach to pricing. We understand that trust is the foundation of any successful business relationship, and that's why we are committed to providing clarity and fairness in our billing. We offer a simple per-hour contract, meaning no retainer or minimum commitment. You simply pay for the time used. Our per-hour approach ensures that our customers remain with us because they value the work that we do, not because they are tied to us. That said, every practice is different, and if you would like to work on a retainer-basis, we are happy to, so long as that is aligned with your business needs and budget.
Yes - our business recently crossed the VAT threshold. As a result, we are required to register to charge VAT for our services. Once our VAT number has been confirmed, your invoices will be reissued, showing the VAT amount clearly itemised. If you have any questions regarding VAT or need further assistance, please feel free to contact us.
Yes, we work with regulated financial advice firms of all shapes and sizes on an ongoing basis. Some are solo advisers who prefer not to hire members of staff, while others are larger multi-adviser practices seeking assistance with particular processes.
Whilst it would be lovely to work from your working location, we collaborate with firms across the whole of the UK. As a result, our typical way of working with our clients is remote. However, our team has an office in Manchester and would love to see you if you're in the area and would like an in-person catch-up on all your cases or a specific case. We also like to arrange on-site visit to your premises for a "work-together day" as well, where travel is feasible. It's always nice to put a face to a name without the need for a computer monitor or a laptop screen if we can.
You have the flexibility to choose how we access your client data, but we can offer suggestions. Options include utilising platforms like OneDrive, SharePoint, Google Drive, or your chosen CRM. We recommend approaching this decision as you would for any remote-working employee within your company. We will cover this with you as part of our onboarding kick-off call if you sign up as a client.
Payments are made by bank transfer (EFT). We run invoicing cycles every 2 weeks and our invoices typically operate on 14-day payment terms by default. Please let us know if you require a different invoicing period (ie. monthly) or payment terms.
Whilst this is a rare occurrence, we confirm that there is no charge for any remedial action identified by compliance or business assurance.
Sure thing - while the majority of our clients require ongoing support, we would be more than happy to lend a hand with specific cases, if you need help to cover long-term sick or annual leave, or if you experience a surge of casework.
